Sunanda Dey is a postdoctoral associate at the Furst Lab, where she explores MPN chemistry to develop reagentless electrochemical sensors for diagnostics. She completed her Ph.D. at Michigan State University in 2024, focusing on synthetic protein-based electrochemical biosensors. Her expertise includes protein engineering, electrochemistry, and bioanalytics. Outside the lab, she enjoys hunting for hidden gem restaurants in Boston, experimenting with new recipes, and loves indulging in midnight scrolling of street food reels, which inevitably spark cravings for late-night snacks!
